Role: Compliance Officer
Location: Poole, Dorset
Salary: 26,000 - 30,000pa DOE
Hours: Monday - Friday Days
Platinum Recruitment are working in partnership with a successful food manufacturing business based in Poole. We have a fantastic opportunity for a Compliance Officer to join their Technical team, focusing on the labelling & packaging.
This role is key in ensuring all product labels & packaging meet current UK, EU, and US food compliance regulations, supporting new product launches and maintaining brand consistency.

What's the job role?
- Manage packaging & labelling design projects from start to finish
- Ensure accurate & up-to-date ingredient, allergen, & nutritional information
- Liaise with internal departments (Marketing, NPD, QA, Supply Chain) & external suppliers
- Approve final artwork, checking for compliance, print quality, barcodes, & cutter guides
- Maintain accurate audit-ready records of labelling approvals & updates
- Provide food labelling & regulatory advice to the wider business
- Work with SAP, Excel, & Access to manage product data
Skills Required?
- Minimum 2 years' experience in a food manufacturing environment
- Strong understanding of food labelling legislation (UK, EU & USA)
- Proficient in SAP, Access, and Excel
- Excellent attention to detail & ability to manage multiple projects
- Familiar with label/packaging management systems
