Accounts Assistant | Poole, Dorset | upto £30,000 FTE Are you looking for a part-time role where your attention to detail and organisational skills make a real impact? Join a well-established engineering business and play a key role in supporting their finance operations. This is a varied position within a friendly team, offering stability and flexibility. The role is part-time across 5 days (20–25 hours per week). As an Accounts Assistant, you will benefit from:

As an Accounts Assistant, your responsibilities will include:
  • Maintaining customer and supplier accounts using SAP
  • Processing purchase invoices, payments, and expenses accurately
  • Raising sales ledger invoices and assisting with credit control
  • Recording daily bank transactions and supporting payment runs
  • Compiling weekly sales and order reports
As an Accounts Assistant, your experience will include:
  • Previous experience in an accounts or finance support role
  • Working knowledge of ERP systems (SAP preferred)
  • Strong Excel and Microsoft Office skills
  • Studying towards AAT (desirable but not essential)
  • A methodical, organised approach and ability to work well in a team
