Bond Williams Accounting and Finance are delighted to be working exclusively with a family owned business based in Poole. The business provides construction and building services to private homeowners and is a trusted partner to councils and housing associations.Reporting to the Head of Finance, you will be overseeing a small team and also have responsibility for:
- VAT returns
- CIS returns
- Bank reconciliations
- Credit control
- Accounts payable and receivable transactions
- Prepare and maintain financial records
- Assisting with month end and year end closing
- Budgets and forecasts
AAT qualification would be beneficial, but not essential if you have good bookkeeping and accounts/analysis experience including knowledge of Xero and strong Excel skills. Some training can be undertaken on CIS and Xero if required. A friendly and positive personality is also essential and the ability to work under pressure. A friendly team and modern working environment is offered, along with on site parking and 22 days holiday plus bank holidays. Please note this is an OFFICE BASED role.
