Prospero Teaching is proud to be working in with an Ofsted rated Outstanding school in Poole that is currently seeking an enthusiastic Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join their dedicated team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Teaching Assistant looking to take the next step in their education career. As a HLTA, you'll work closely with teaching staff to support learning across the curriculum, provide PPA (Planning, Preparation & Assessment) cover, and lead small group or 1:1 interventions that make a real difference to student progress.

What you'll be doing in the class room:

  • Supporting teachers with lesson delivery across a range of subjects
  • Leading classroom sessions during PPA cover
  • Planning and delivering targeted interventions for small groups and individuals
  • Working collaboratively with SEN professionals to support diverse learning needs

What we need off you:

  • Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant
  • Strong knowledge of a the curriculum
  • A good understanding on Special Educational Needs (SEN)
  • Ability to deliver engaging, well-structured lessons and activities
  • Up to date Safeguarding training (issued within the last year)


Eligibility Criteria:

  • Right to work in the UK
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply for a new one
  • References to cover 24 months references
