We are currently recruiting for a specialist support worker for a housing association with years of experience in tackling homelessness and meeting housing needs.
Your new role
We are currently recruiting Specialist Support Workers to join our a project, supporting survivors of modern slavery. This role involves delivering integrated, trauma-informed support tailored to each individual's needs. You will work across the South West, helping survivors access their entitlements, build confidence, and develop the skills needed to move forward and live independently.
You'll be part of a professional and friendly team working in a Psychologically Informed Environment (PIE), using a holistic and non-biased approach to support recovery and
empowerment.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Experience working with individuals with complex needs and challenging behaviours.
  • A trauma-informed approach and ability to work within professional boundaries.
  • Strong communication and advocacy skills.
  • Ability to build trust and empower survivors to achieve independence.
  • Confidence working with multi-agency partners and managing risk.
  • Self-motivation, resilience, empathy, and a non-judgemental attitude.
  • A full driving licence and access to a vehicle (essential).
