SEN Teaching Assistant- College - Poole, Dorset.
SENCare Recruitment are currently working on behalf of a college, that is seeking experienced teaching assistants to support young adults who have autism, mild and profound needs and SEMH.
Start: ASAP
Duration:5days a week - ongoing.
Hours:8.30am - 4.30pm
The ideal teaching assisant -
- will have at least 6 months experience supportingstudents with autism, social emotional mental health difficulties, some profound needs.
- experience supportingstudents aged16-25
- able to follow students ECHPs
- experienced with ASD, PMLD, SEMH, trauma, sensory processing, and social communication teaching background
- the ability to build strong and meaningful relationships with vulnerable students
- have a clear DBS registered to the update service - child and adult checked.
