We're seeking dedicated Tutors to work with young people across a wide age range-from Primary to Post-16-who require tailored support to thrive in their learning.
About the Role:
You'll be working with learners who benefit from bespoke, one-to-one tuition. Many of our students have complex needs, including:
- SEN and SEMH
- Autism (ASD), ADHD, PDA
- Trauma and medical conditions
- Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD)
- Global Learning Delay
Your role will involve planning and delivering engaging sessions in English and Maths, adapted to meet each learner's unique needs.
As a Tutor, you will:
- Deliver personalised tuition in English and Maths.
- Support learners with a wide range of additional needs.
- Plan and deliver sessions that are engaging, accessible, and goal-oriented.
- Be flexible and responsive to each learner's individual circumstances.
- Maintain professional standards and safeguarding practices.
- Communicate effectively with families and professionals.
About You:
- You have experience working with learners with SEN and complex needs.
- You're confident in planning and delivering tailored educational sessions.
- You're adaptable, empathetic, and committed to supporting young people.
- You're available during school hours (Monday to Friday), either part-time or full-time.
- You're professional, reliable, and passionate about inclusive education.

Essential & Desirable Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1 year of experience working with young people
- Experience of working with learners with SEN
To be eligible for this role through Prospero teaching, you must:
- Hold right to work in the UK
- Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
- Provide references upon request
- Possess up to date Safeguarding Training (or a willingness to undertake this)
