We're seeking dedicated Tutors to work with young people across a wide age range-from Primary to Post-16-who require tailored support to thrive in their learning.



About the Role:

You'll be working with learners who benefit from bespoke, one-to-one tuition. Many of our students have complex needs, including:

  • SEN and SEMH
  • Autism (ASD), ADHD, PDA
  • Trauma and medical conditions
  • Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD)
  • Global Learning Delay

Your role will involve planning and delivering engaging sessions in English and Maths, adapted to meet each learner's unique needs.



As a Tutor, you will:

  • Deliver personalised tuition in English and Maths.
  • Support learners with a wide range of additional needs.
  • Plan and deliver sessions that are engaging, accessible, and goal-oriented.
  • Be flexible and responsive to each learner's individual circumstances.
  • Maintain professional standards and safeguarding practices.
  • Communicate effectively with families and professionals.


About You:

  • You have experience working with learners with SEN and complex needs.
  • You're confident in planning and delivering tailored educational sessions.
  • You're adaptable, empathetic, and committed to supporting young people.
  • You're available during school hours (Monday to Friday), either part-time or full-time.
  • You're professional, reliable, and passionate about inclusive education.

Essential & Desirable Qualifications:

      • Minimum of 1 year of experience working with young people
      • Experience of working with learners with SEN

To be eligible for this role through Prospero teaching, you must:

  • Hold right to work in the UK
  • Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
  • Provide references upon request
  • Possess up to date Safeguarding Training (or a willingness to undertake this)
