We're looking for enthusiastic individuals to join our dynamic team as Production Operatives at our client's state-of-the-art facility in Port Talbot!
Starting rate of 12.21 per hour, with a shift premium.
Permanent Position: Become a valued member of the team with long-term career opportunities.
Convenient Location: Easily accessible with car park.
Shift Patterns:
Operating on a 3-shift pattern:
- Day: 06:00 - 14:00
- Evening: 14:00 - 22:00
- Night: 22:00 - 06:00
Role and Responsibilities:
As a Production Operative, you will work within a shift team. Your responsibilities will include:
- Setting machinery to meet manufacturing criteria and producing cans to exact specifications.
- Conducting quality checks and accurately recording results.
- Ensuring all materials are ready for use to keep production running smoothly.
- Identifying and addressing any machinery anomalies and performing basic maintenance.
- Assisting with the preparation of equipment for line changeovers.
Qualifications and Skills:
Educational Requirements: GCSE in Mathematics and English; NVQ in Manufacturing is desirable.
Experience: Previous experience in a manufacturing environment, especially within an FMCG organisation, is a plus.
Key Skills: Strong organisational skills, exceptional attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining a safe working environment.
