Hatched Talent is delighted to be the talent partner for an established IT services provider seeking a Cloud Technician to join their growing team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Microsoft Cloud professional to step into a client-facing, second-line technical role with real career progression.

 

Why this role?

As a Cloud Technician, you'll deliver cutting-edge Microsoft Cloud solutions while supporting users and mentoring the first-line support team with more complex issues. You'll gain exposure to varied customer environments - working both from the office and on-site - while playing a key role in projects that drive digital transformation.

 

What you'll be doing

  • Delivering Microsoft Cloud solutions (Azure, Microsoft 365, associated products)
  • Providing advanced diagnostics and support for complex technical issues
  • Supporting and guiding the 1st line team on escalations
  • Liaising directly with customers on-site and remotely to ensure high satisfaction
  • Completing system checks in line with remote system support policies
  • Assisting with evaluation of new technologies and beta releases
  • Offering software application support to customers after training

 

What we're looking for

  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in Microsoft Cloud support, delivery, and administration
  • Strong skills in Microsoft 365 and Azure administration
  • Confident communicator with excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to take ownership of projects/issues and see them through to resolution
  • Full UK driving licence (essential for on-site work)

 

Desirable skills:

  • Microsoft certifications (MCP, MCSA, MCSE)
  • Knowledge of VoIP systems and support
  • Experience with Intune, Defender, and PowerShell
