Location: Port Talbot

Hours: Monday to Friday 08:30am - 17:00pm

Job type: Permanent

Salary: Up to £45,000 per annum (Overtime available at x1.5 on weekdays & x2 on weekends)

Hawk 3 Talent Solutions, operating as an employment agency, are currently recruiting for a Technical CI Engineer to join our clients leading manufacturing site within Port Talbot.

This is an exciting opportunity for a hands on Engineer to take ownership of process improvements across the production facility - balancing office based analysis and design with practical, on-the-floor engagement.

The Role:

      Resolve daily process challenges using structured problem solving tools (A3, 5 Whys, Root Cause Analysis, 8D)

Lead CI projects using Lean / TPS methodologies such as 5S, Kaizen, Value Steam Mapping, Standard Work, and SMED

Analyze performance data and develop clear KPIs and dashboards to track improvements

Support strategic initiatives in automation, digitalization, sustainability and capacity expansion

Collaborate across departments to improve OEE, reduce downtime, and enhance product quality

About you:

      HNC / HND / Degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering or similar

Experience in a manufacturing, process engineering or CI role

Strong working knowledge of Lean, Kaizen or Six Sigma tools

Skilled in 3D modelling / design software (Solid Edge, AutoCAD or similar)

Excellent analytical and communication skills
