The business provide superb training with a defined plan in place for each position they hire, and would be well suited to a candidate with experience in a mechanical engineering, ranging from design, R&D and production engineering.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Designing solutions on CAD (Solid Works)
- Creating new parts on the ERP system for new design iterations coming through as orders
- Resolving issues that may arise in production relating to the products
- Contributing to the R&D RoadMap (Product Development Strategy)
- Working closely with customers and support team to resolve issues
- Providing technical support and training to development and support team
- Utilise use of Lean Thinking to eliminate waste from our processes and designs and make things simple
Requirements
- Understanding of mechanical processes involved in assembly.
- Continuous improvement background.
- Experience with solidworks.
- Experience of product design and development.
