We are currently recruiting for a dedicated and experienced Production Team Leader to oversee a small team of Line Operators for a highly successful manufacturer in Port Talbot. This is a great opportunity to join as the company expand significantly into 2026.

A Production Team Leader you will:

Duties

  • Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of the production team to ensure smooth workflow.
  • Monitor production processes, identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
  • Ensure all machinery and equipment are operated safely and efficiently, adhering to health and safety regulations whilst also ensuring smooth handovers.
  • Conduct regular inspections of production machinery and equipment to make sure everything is running to an optimal level.
  • Organise training sessions for new staff or on new procedures to promote continuous improvement.
  • Maintain accurate records of production output, downtime, and quality control metrics.
  • Have a 'right first time' attitude and look to reduce change over times to ensure more effective production timescales
