About the Role

We're looking for reliable and flexible individuals to support the daily operations at Porthcawl Marina. This is a hands-on, customer-facing role that involves general maintenance, safety checks, and helping harbour users. You'll play a key part in keeping the marina safe, clean and welcoming.



Key Responsibilities

  • Operate the harbour gate and manage access safely.

  • Carry out scheduled cleaning and maintenance tasks.

  • Ensure health and safety standards are met across the marina.

  • Perform daily safety checks and report any concerns.

  • Maintain washroom and support facilities to a good standard.

  • Provide excellent customer service to marina users.

  • Support the Harbourmaster and report any operational issues.

  • Collect income where necessary.



What We're Looking For

  • A good general education (NVQ Level 2 or equivalent experience).

  • Experience in marine environments (shore or sea-based).

  • Flexible, proactive and confident working outdoors.

  • Good communication and administrative skills.

  • IT skills and a full UK driving licence.

  • Health & Safety and First Aid experience/training is desirable.
