Electrical Design Engineer
Location: Portland,Dorset with hybrid working patterns.
Our client are a global Engineering and Construction firm seeking an experienced Electrical Design Engineer to support the delivery of complex, high-quality projects.
Responsibilities:
- Develop detailed electrical designs and documentation
- Ensure compliance with safety, technical, and regulatory standards
- Support system integration, installation, and commissioning
- Participate in design reviews and contribute to tenders and process improvements
Requirements:
- Degree or HNC/HND in Electrical Engineering
- Minimum 3 years' experience in engineering design
- Proficient in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office
- Knowledge of wiring regulations, LPS, EMC, and relevant standards
- Strong analytical, organisational, and communication skills
Remuneration & Benefits:
- Salary discussions will commence from 42,000 per annum, commensurate with experience and qualifications
- 37.5 hours per week
- 25 days annual leave
