As we continue to grow and invest in the future of premium English sparkling wine, we are seeking a highly capable Financial Controller to help steer the financial operations of our dynamic, multi-faceted business.

Youll work closely with the Finance & Operations Director and senior management team to shape financial strategy, strengthen our control environment, and drive data-led decision making at board level.
The Role
This position is central to the financial health and operational effectiveness of the Group. Youll be responsible for:
Leading day-to-day financial operations including AR, AP, payroll, VAT and Wine Duty
Producing accurate and timely financial statements and fully reconciled balance sheets
Managing cash flow and working capital on a daily basis
Preparing monthly management reporting packs and board-level financial reports
Maintaining strong financial controls and ensuring regulatory compliance
Playing a key role in our transition from Sage to Microsoft Dynamics (Bevica)
Driving annual budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes
Supporting the external audit process and managing banking and ABL relationships
Who We're Looking For
Were looking for someone who brings not just technical excellence, but commercial insight and hospitality sector-relevant experience. The ideal candidate will have:
Ideally with an Accounting qualification (QBE will be considered)
Proven experience in hospitality finance, with strong leadership in a financial management role
A strong background in hospitality industry.
Proven skills in balance sheet reconciliation, financial reporting, and cashflow management
Up-to-date knowledge of UK GAAP / IFRS
High proficiency in Excel and a working knowledge of financial systems
Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively
