We are currently recruiting for a Financial Controller who will be responsible for overseeing the accounting and finance department of a prominent industrial and manufacturing company based in Portsmouth.

Description
- Oversee and manage the overall financial operations within the department.
- Develop and implement financial strategies, systems, and policies.
- Ensure all financial reports, budgets, and forecasts are accurate and timely.
- Coordinate with auditors to ensure proper compliance with all regulations.
- Monitor all open legal issues involving the company, and legal issues affecting the industry.
- Maintain relations with external auditors and investigate their findings and recommendations.
- Provide strategic financial input and leadership on decision making issues affecting the company.
- Enhance and/or develop, implement, and enforce policies and procedures of the organisation by way of systems that will improve the overall operation and effectiveness of the corporation.
Profile
- Certified accountancy qualification such as CIMA, ACCA or ACA.
- Proven experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
- Strong understanding of financial regulations and legislation.
- Excellent leadership and decision-making abilities.
- Strong analytical, strategic-planning, and communication skills.
Job Offer
- An attractive salary ranging from £81,000 to £99,000 per annum.
