 Dynamite Recruitment is working in partnership with a highly successful award-winning business who are based in Portsmouth Due to internal growth our client is looking to expand a specialist team and are looking for a talented account manager to join them We are looking for someone who is client focused , consultative and who always has the customer at the forefront of their intentions at all times . Someone with strong relationship building skills and experience but the ability to generate new opportunities were identified The team are small and look after key clients for the business . This involves managing the end-to- end delivery of an outstanding service whilst looking at ways to improve this , analysing statistics and planning to ensure that the customer is satisfies and the relationship continues This is an opportunity to elevate your account management career by becoming a key contact for high-value clients.In this role, you will:
  • Take full ownership of your client portfolio
  • Influence and shape customer processes and policies
  • Build strong internal and external relationships across a wide range of stakeholders
 This is an office-based role with a potential need here and there to meet in person with key clients of required As an Account Manager, your primary focus will be on delivering outstanding account management and building trusted, long-lasting relationships with key clients.You’ll be responsible for:
  • Client Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong, multi-level relationships across your client base. Handle escalate queries, manage expectations, and consistently deliver exceptional service.
  • Operational Reviews: Lead regular customer meetings to review performance, identify trends, resolve challenges, and explore areas for added value.
  • Strategic Account Planning: Own and deliver detailed account plans, focusing on both current activity and future opportunities that add measurable value to the customer experience.
  • Performance Reporting: Analyse key data, including SLAs and KPIs, to create and present impactful client management reports.
  • Process & Project Enhancement: Drive improvements in client operations by identifying inefficiencies, implementing best practices, and working cross-functionally to deliver solutions.
  • Policy & Contract Management: Gain a detailed understanding of each customer’s specific policies and contractual requirements, ensuring all service delivery aligns accordingly.
  • Strategic Collaboration: Partner closely with internal strategy and service teams to support your clients' long-term goals and provide expert consultation and guidance.
  • Account Management: To provide a general all-round service and manage multiple accounts with professionalism

  • Proven experience in account management or client services
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Confident in presenting to stakeholders and handling negotiations
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently
