What You'll Be Doing

As a Spacecraft Production Operator, you'll be a key player in the end-to-end production of space-bound hardware. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Mechanical Integration: Fit and install payload equipment, coaxial cables, waveguides, thermocouples, heater circuits, accelerometers, DC harnesses, and structural components using detailed technical drawings and procedures.
  • Electrical Testing:Execute automated and manual RF tests, interpret schematics, and ensure payloads meet performance benchmarks.
  • Quality & Safety:Maintain high standards through 5S practices, COSHH compliance, and meticulous workspace management.
  • Team Collaboration: Drive continuous improvement through Kaizen, SQCDP, and contribute to a high-performance production culture.
  • Critical Moves:Operate cranes and MGSE to support safe and precise movement of sensitive equipment.
  • Documentation: Ensure accurate completion of work orders and test records for all activities.

What You'll Bring

Shift Details

  • Regular Shifts: Early (06:00-14:00), Late (14:00-22:00), and Night (22:00-06:00) as needed.
  • Continuous Shifts: 12-hour rotations (06:00-18:00 / 18:00-06:00) on a 4-on, 4-off pattern.
  • Weekend & Offsite Work:Required during critical production phases.
