Are you an experienced Electrical Project Manager ready to take the lead on high-impact projects within a dynamic engineering environment?
We’re looking for an Electrical Project Manager to deliver a range of Electrical and Building Services projects across a large and complex site in Portsmouth. This is a key role within a major systems programme, where you’ll oversee projects from scope through to completion — ensuring safe, on-time, and on-budget delivery.
Tell me more...You’ll work as part of a highly skilled project delivery team, managing end-to-end project execution across multiple building environments. From overseeing the design and procurement process to managing contractors, budgets, and schedules — you’ll ensure every project meets its technical, safety and operational objectives.
This role is hands-on, requiring regular site visits and close collaboration with multi-disciplinary teams, clients, and end users. You’ll also play a key part in driving continuous improvement and supporting the development of junior project staff.
What do you need?-
Proven experience delivering Electrical or Building Services projects

Strong project management skills across design, procurement, delivery and handover stages

Experience managing projects up to £4M+ in value and 12+ months in duration

Excellent communication, planning and decision-making skills

Confident working directly with clients and multiple stakeholders

Strong working knowledge of health and safety regulations, risk and cost management

Ideally qualified with a Degree, HNC/HND or professional certification in Engineering, Construction or Project Management

Additional qualifications such as APM PMQ, SMSTS, IOSH or NEBOSH are advantageous
