A leading provider of fire safety and compliance solutions is committed to delivering technically sound and practical fire strategies that improve safety and ensure compliance across a broad portfolio of existing buildings.
They are looking for a Chartered Fire Engineer to lead fire strategy development across listed, commercial, leisure and residential buildings. This is a senior role with scope to influence design and compliance decisions, support junior engineers, and contribute to the continued development of fire engineering capability.
The job
We are seeking an experienced Chartered Fire Engineer to lead and manage fire engineering projects. You will be instrumental in developing fire strategies for complex existing buildings, providing expert advice, and ensuring compliance with fire safety regulations. This role offers the opportunity to influence fire safety practices and mentor the next generation of fire engineers.
- Lead the development of fire strategies for various building types.
- Provide expert guidance on fire safety design and compliance.
- Conduct and oversee fire risk assessments and site inspections.
- Mentor and support the professional development of junior engineers.
- Engage with clients and stakeholders to deliver high-quality fire engineering solutions.
Requirements
- Chartered status with the Institution of Fire Engineers (IFE) or equivalent.
- Extensive experience in fire engineering consultancy.
- In-depth knowledge of UK fire safety regulations and standards.
- Proven leadership and project management skills.
