Location: Portsmouth, Hampshire
Salary: £40,(Apply online only) – £50,(Apply online only) per annum
Hours: Monday to Friday, night shift (20:00 – 05:00)
Contract: Permanent

Role Overview:
We are looking for a skilled HGV Mechanic, HGV Technician, LGV Fitter, Truck Mechanic, Diesel Mechanic, or Fleet Technician for our night shift in Portsmouth. This permanent role allows you to work on HGVs, trailers, and fleet vehicles while gaining hands-on training and career development.
What You’ll Do:
Service, maintain, and repair HGVs, LGVs, trailers, and fleet vehicles
Diagnose and fix mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical faults
Perform inspections, MOT prep, and compliance checks
Keep accurate job cards and service records
Work safely and efficiently with your workshop team
Participate in ongoing manufacturer-led training
What We’re Looking For:
Essential:
Level 3 qualification in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent)
Experience as an HGV Mechanic, HGV Technician, LGV Fitter, Truck Mechanic, Diesel Mechanic, or Fleet Technician
Full UK driving licence
Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
Desirable:
HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence
IRTEC accreditation
Experience with dealer-level diagnostic tools
Fleet or main dealer experience
