We are actively looking for an Electrical Supervisor to oversee maintenance and repairs across various contracts in the Southeast. This role is crucial for ensuring the integrity and safety of electrical systems in over 5,000 buildings, including universities, social housing, council buildings, office buildings, and leisure accommodations. The ideal candidate will have a proactive attitude, flexibility, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Conduct electrical tests and inspections, reactive repairs, and fault finding.
  • Undertake full electrical rewiring and installations in kitchens, bathrooms, and commercial heating systems.
  • Ensure all electrical work complies with the latest IEE Wiring Regulations and associated British Standards.
  • Complete and validate electrical certifications through the NICEIC electrical certification program.
  • Maintain strict adherence to safety protocols, including GS38 guidance for electrical test equipment.
  • Diagnose and rectify faults within core expertise.
  • Support all trades to deliver a professional maintenance and repairs service.
  • Respond swiftly to emergency situations, keeping customers informed of progress and plans.
  • Maintain tools, plant, and equipment in safe, clean, and workable condition.
  • Keep accurate records of works undertaken, including photographic evidence as necessary.
  • Participate in an on-call rota for out-of-hours emergencies.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent 
  • C&G 2391 or equivalent in Inspecting and Testing 
  • 18th Edition Wiring Regulations 
  • AM2 qualifications 
  • Practical approach to health and safety.
  • Proficiency in using phones or PDAs for effective communication.
  • Full current driving license.
