About the RoleWhat will I be responsible for?
At JEM Property Services, we specialize in delivering high quality, reliable reactive repairs, after sales services and maintenance as well as total plumbing, central heating & total re-wiring projects to homes across the South of England.
As our Electrician, you will join a small team of electricians and assist with installation works, maintenance operations on various systems, equipment, and appliances, including both single-phase and three-phase systems, lighting, and alarm systems etc.
Could this be the ideal role for me?
As our ideal Electrician, you will need an appropriate professional (or trade) accreditation (e.g., Level 3 City & Guilds 2230 or equivalent apprenticeship, 18th Edition of IEE regulations). In addition to these qualifications, you will also have the following skills and experience:
- You will also need practical knowledge and experience of electrical maintenance, including power supplies, lighting and alarm systems, motors, controls, and portable appliances.
- Experience with single-phase and three-phase systems is equally important.
- Hold a current driving licence.
- Hold a current and in date ECS card.
- Provide professional assessments and advice for customers.
- City and Guilds level 2 & 3 Electrical installations.
- To be an Electrical Tester, you will need to hold City & Guilds 2391.
- Up to date with current standard BS7671, 18th Edition BS7671
