Senior Manufacturing Engineer (Systems & Controls) Aerospace Sector

Are you an experienced Manufacturing Engineer with a strong background in systems and controls? Do you have expertise in PLC programming, SCADA systems, and industry 4.0 technologies? The Role

As a Senior Manufacturing Engineer, you will drive automation, analytics, and process optimisation, ensuring high-quality production and cost-effective manufacturing solutions. You will support maintenance teams, lead project management initiatives, and implement SCADA-based technology to enhance manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver technical expertise in electrical/electronics for complex problem-solving
  • Define and implement manufacturing facilities and equipment improvements
  • Develop and optimise manufacturing processes for quality and cost-effectiveness
  • Incorporate SCADA systems, embedded analytics, and condition-based monitoring
  • Introduce networked OEE systems and Short Interval Control strategies
  • Work closely with internal teams, customers, and suppliers

Requirements:

  • Strong background in Manufacturing, Maintenance, or Production Engineering
  • Expertise in PLC programming (Siemens preferred)
  • Knowledge of SCADA-based system integration
  • Familiarity with OEE implementation and Industry 4.0 technologies
  • Strong background in Lean Six Sigma methodologies
  • Skilled in problem-solving, root cause analysis, and project management
