The Role
As a Senior Manufacturing Engineer, you will drive automation, analytics, and process optimisation, ensuring high-quality production and cost-effective manufacturing solutions. You will support maintenance teams, lead project management initiatives, and implement SCADA-based technology to enhance manufacturing processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver technical expertise in electrical/electronics for complex problem-solving
- Define and implement manufacturing facilities and equipment improvements
- Develop and optimise manufacturing processes for quality and cost-effectiveness
- Incorporate SCADA systems, embedded analytics, and condition-based monitoring
- Introduce networked OEE systems and Short Interval Control strategies
- Work closely with internal teams, customers, and suppliers
Requirements:
- Strong background in Manufacturing, Maintenance, or Production Engineering
- Expertise in PLC programming (Siemens preferred)
- Knowledge of SCADA-based system integration
- Familiarity with OEE implementation and Industry 4.0 technologies
- Strong background in Lean Six Sigma methodologies
- Skilled in problem-solving, root cause analysis, and project management
