Your CompanyThe team at NET Recruit are partnering with a fantastic financial services business located in the Greater Portsmouth area, who are keenly searching for a Client Manager on a permanent basis to join their small but growing team. With a range of professional services offered, and now following a very successful period of recent growth and development (circa 30% year on year), the company are looking to expand their roster of clients, and the acquisition of a Client Manager will aid enormously in this. The position itself will prove invaluable, to assist the team with financial duties and act as a point of contact for the customer base, including Sole Traders, Partnerships and Limited Companies, to seamlessly deliver the high-quality accounting services of the business, including accounts and tax return preparation.  Your Role and ResponsibilitiesWhile in this position your duties may include but will not be limited to:
  • Preparing and submitting accounts and tax returns for clients
  • Holding client meetings and utilising the phone, email, social media and in person methods to communicate with clients
  • Onboarding seamlessly, new clients, ensuring they are well integrated into the portfolio and when needed, conducting client fee reviews
  • Assessing and advising clients on their tax position
  • Completing bookkeeping, VAT returns and CIS
  • Acting as the key point of liaisons on the client’s behalf for outside parties including HMRC and Companies, ensuring that information held there is updated and accurate and dealing with any queries in a proactive manner
What you will need to Apply:For this role, candidates will ideally have prior relatable experience, from within a previous Client Manager or Accountant role and ideally from within an Accountancy Practice environment, whereupon exposure has been gained in preparing tax returns and accounts. To be considered for this role you should also be part or fully ACCA/ACA qualified. Communication skills are vital for this role in order to liaise effectively with both internal departments and the client base.
