Sonic Summary

A well-known Nationwide Distribution client is seeking Class 1 Drivers for Trunking at their busy Depot with immediate starts available for afternoon and night shifts on weekends.
Candidates must have held a C+E license for at least 12 months and have a minimum of 3 continuous months of recent work on their Digi Card with no infringements.
The role involves completing the collection and delivery of goods while adhering to company procedures, ensuring the safe securing of goods, and maintaining vehicle cleanliness.
The pay rates are attractive, offering £19 per hour from Monday to Friday, with overtime rates of £24 per hour after 8 hours, and higher rates for weekend work.
Drivers are expected to have good communication skills in English and a smart appearance, with additional duties as reasonably requested by management.

Due to busy demands, our well known Nationwide Distribution client is looking for Class 1 Drivers for Trunking at their busy Depot, with immediate start

Afternoon and nights

Weekends available.

Subsidized canteen available on site.

Working 9 to 14 hour shifts - Minimum 8 hrs guaranteed per shift.

You will need to have held a C+E licence for a minimum of 12 months (for insurance purposes), with at least 3 continuous months worth of recent work showing on your Digi Card - NO INFRINGEMENTS!

Overall objective: To assist with the smooth running of deliveries from depot to hub.

Main duties/responsibilities:

To complete collection and delivery of goods whilst following company procedures (NO HAND BALLING) - NO MULTI DROP

Ensure goods are safely secured and paperwork is in order

Follow company security procedures

Keep vehicle clean at all times

Undertake additional duties, or assist other members of staff, as may be reasonably requested by your Manager or the Directors

Knowledge/understanding required:

Full UK ( C+E ) driving license required.

Smart appearance.

Good Knowledge of the English language CPC, digital tachocard IT knowledge/understanding required

The ability to apply knowledge and understanding to the Job

The ability to communicate effectively with the client and other members of staff in the operations and warehouse departments
