We have an exciting opportunity for an Estimator to join a main contractor based in Portsmouth. The business has built a reputation in Hampshire and the South East for delivering for clients across a range of sectors including facilities management, refurbishments and construction services, valuing typically to 5mil. They work with both private and public sector clients.

About the role of Estimator:

As Estimator, you will be working within the work-winning team, producing competitive tenders which maximise profitability whilst ensuring the clients requirements are met. You will work collaboratively to ensure site teams are given a full handover is returned to the delivery teams.

Key responsibilities as Estimator:

• Review tender documents and ascertain suitability for the project
• Work from first principles
• Manage the whole tender process
• Work collaboratively with the bid team to ensure tenders are presentable

Key requirements for this Estimator position:

• Proven track record of successfully securing tenders valuing up to 5mil.
• Experience competitively tendering for projects as the main contractor
• Live within a commutable distance to Portsmouth and be happy to commute to office / site on a regular basis
• Full right to work in the UK
