This Estimator role will see you working with a fast growing business where positive culture and value thrives. Typically working within the Facilities Management and Building Services industries on varied commercial and residnetial projects. Estimator Role:

Overview:
Responsible for preparing accurate and competitive cost estimates for commercial and residentialprojects, including Mechanical & Electrical, HVAC, and multi-skilled services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare tenders and cost estimates for PPM, reactive, and project works.

  • Interpret specifications, drawings, and schedules to produce accurate take-offs.

  • Source and analyse subcontractor/supplier quotes.

  • Conduct site visits and liaise with technical teams to define scope.

  • Identify risks, value engineering opportunities, and ensure compliance with regulations.

  • Support bid submissions, presentations, and post-tender reviews.

  • Maintain awareness of market trends and pricing in the FM sector

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in estimating within Facilities Management, M&E, or HVAC projects.

  • Strong understanding of PPM, reactive maintenance, installations, and project-based FM services and building services

  • Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and schedules.

  • Proficient in MS Excel and estimating software (e.g. Causeway, SimPRO, etc.). - Desirable

  • Familiarity withCAFM systems, and relevant FM compliance standards.

  • Excellent commercial awareness and attention to detail.

  • Strong communication and stakeholder liaison skills.

  • Relevant qualification in Quantity Surveying, Building Services, Engineering, or similar (HNC/HND/Degree desirable).
