Our client, a prominent organisation in the Defence and Security sector, is seeking a dedicated On-Boarding Associate to join their team on a contract basis in Portsmouth. This role falls under the Shared Services business unit and involves hybrid working arrangements, with 2-3 days per week spent on-site.
Key Responsibilities:
- Facilitating the on-boarding process for new hires within the Defence and Security sector
- Coordinating administrative tasks to ensure a smooth transition for new employees
- Maintaining accurate records and documentation throughout the on-boarding process
- Liaising with various departments to ensure all necessary on-boarding steps are completed
- Providing support and guidance to new employees regarding company policies and procedures
- Handling any on-boarding queries and resolving issues promptly
- Ensuring compliance with security requirements and protocols
- Assisting in the continuous improvement of on-boarding processes
Job Requirements:
- Experience in administrative roles, preferably within the Defence and Security sector
- Strong organisational and coordination skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficiency in maintaining accurate records and documentation
- Strong communication skills for liaising with different departments and new hires
- Understanding of compliance and security protocols
- BPSS security clearance or the ability to obtain it
