Our client is an HGV dealership with several locations across Southeast of England. Currently they are looking for an HGV Technician / HGV Fitter / HGV Mechanic for their Portsmouth depot to work on:
1. Permanent lates
2. Permanent nights
Key duties include:
- Routine servicing and maintenance of HGVs and trailers
- Diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical faults
- Ensuring all work is carried out to the highest standards
- Completing job cards and paperwork accurately
Requirements:
- NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in HGV Maintenance and Repair (preferred)
- Previous experience as an HGV Technician / Mechanic / Fitter
- A valid HGV Licence (Class 1 or 2) is desirable but not essential
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
- A team player with a positive, can-do attitude
