We are seeking anIT Laptop Deployment Engineerto assist with a large-scale device rollout in aTech Bar-styleenvironment. The ideal candidate will have experience supporting end users, familiarity withMicrosoft Intune, and a solid understanding of modern device deployment processes.
In this role, the engineer will be responsible for deploying pre-configured Windows laptops to users, managing device assignments in Intune, and ensuring successful user enrollment and setup. This is ahands-on, user-facing role, ideal for someone comfortable with both technical tasks and direct user interaction.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the deployment of pre-built Windows laptops using Microsoft Intune.
  • Assign devices to users or reset/supply user passwords in Intune as required.
  • Log in on behalf of users to ensure the device enrolls correctly in Intune and that required applications/settings are applied.
  • Follow provided deployment guides and procedures accurately.
  • Operate from a centralized Tech Bar location where users visit to collect and set up their devices.
  • Troubleshoot basic setup or enrollment issues and escalate complex issues where necessary.
  • Maintain deployment logs and report on completed handovers.
  • Provide excellent customer service to users during setup.

Skills & Experience Required:
  • Prior experience in a similar IT support or device deployment role.
  • Strong working knowledge ofMicrosoft Intune / Endpoint Manager.
  • Familiarity with Windows 10/11, Azure AD join, and user profile configuration.
  • Ability to follow structured deployment processes and documentation.
  • Good troubleshooting and communication skills.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
  • Previous experience in a Tech Bar, walk-up support, or face-to-face IT support role is a plus.

Desirable:
  • Microsoft certifications (e.g., MS-900, MD-102) are an advantage.
  • Experience with password reset tools or Identity Management systems (e.g., Azure AD, self-service portals).
  • Customer service background in an IT setting.
