Job Title: Civil Engineer

Location: Portsmouth (HM Naval Base)

Service Area: Asset Management, EnACT

Hours of Work: 37 hours per week

What You’ll be doing:

The role is within the Engineering, Assurance and Compliance Team (EnACT), and you will assist in the provision of technical governance, legislative, regulatory and safe to operate assurance for the infrastructure within HMNBP.  This role provides an opportunity to join a well-established team, working alongside highly competent and experienced engineers. You will be a civils engineer educated to degree level and have demonstrable evidence of working within a civil engineering environment.

You’ll Have:

  • A degree qualification (engineer) with 2+ years’ experience within a civils engineering discipline.
  • The desire to be an Incorporated Engineer (or equivalent experience)
  • Understanding in undertaking civil surveys and reports
  • Working knowledge of relevant UK standards
