This is an exciting opportunity to be part of the engineering team that keeps one of the UK's busiest deep-water terminals running smoothly - maintaining cranes, forklifts, and a wide range of material handling equipment that move thousands of tonnes of goods every day.

The Role

As a Maintenance Engineer, you will work across the workshop and port site to ensure all cranes and material handling equipment (MHE) are safe, reliable, and compliant.

  • Experience with mechanical/electrical/hydraulic systems

  • Background maintaining cranes, forklifts, or similar heavy plant equipment

  • Recognised engineering qualification or apprenticeship

  • Full UK driving licence

  • A proactive, positive, and safety-focused approach

  • Work within a close-knit, supportive engineering team

  • Be part of a key business supporting UK imports and logistics
