We are currently working with an established M&E contractor who are looking for an experienced Mechanical Site Manager to work on a high-profile military project based in Portsmouth for 7 months.

The role will involve overseeing all on site mechanical services installations, ensuring works are delivered safely, on time, and to the required quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate mechanical installation activities on site
• Manage subcontractors and ensure compliance with project specifications and safety requirements
• Attend progress meetings and liaise with the project and design teams
• Monitor quality of workmanship and ensure adherence to drawings and standards
• Review RAMS, permits, and ensure site documentation is maintained
• Support commissioning and handover processes

Requirements:

• Proven track record as a Mechanical Site Manager on MEP projects
• Experience working on military or public sector projects is preferred
• Strong technical understanding of HVAC and building services systems
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• SMSTS and CSCS essential; First Aid preferred
• Security Clearance is needed, so candidates must be eligible to gain clearance
