Mechanical Associate

The right candidate will be used to leading design projects from conception to handover from either a consultants or contractor prospective.
The Role
• Validating and conducting site surveys and meetings depending on the project
• Leading a team of engineers on a range of commercial projects (Residential, Historic buildings, Theatres for entertainment)
• Liaising with clients, architects, sub-contractors ensuring accurate designs are produced
• In depth knowledge of electrical infrastructure (lighting, security systems, small power, LV etc)
• Help develop more junior members of the team
• Ensure high quality service is delivered to clients
• Keeping on top of commercial changes within the industry
Expectations
• 5-8 years running own projects in a senior/principal level role
• HNC/Degree in an mechanical or building services related subject
• Ability to run projects independently as well as part of a group
• Strong commercial acumen of speaking to clients
• Experience of leading and conducting design meetings
• Seeing opportunities to develop business as they arise
• Chartered status (desirable)
