Mechanical Associate

The right candidate will be used to leading design projects from conception to handover from either a consultants or contractor prospective.
The Role
- Validating and conducting site surveys and meetings depending on the project
- Leading a team of engineers on a range of commercial projects (Residential, Historic buildings, Theatres for entertainment)
- Liaising with clients, architects, sub-contractors ensuring accurate designs are produced
- In depth knowledge of electrical infrastructure (lighting, security systems, small power, LV etc)
- Help develop more junior members of the team
- Ensure high quality service is delivered to clients
- Keeping on top of commercial changes within the industry
Expectations
- 5-8 years running own projects in a senior/principal level role
- HNC/Degree in an mechanical or building services related subject
- Ability to run projects independently as well as part of a group
- Strong commercial acumen of speaking to clients
- Experience of leading and conducting design meetings
- Seeing opportunities to develop business as they arise
- Chartered status (desirable)
