Your new company & new roleI am working with a Portsmouth-based client who are seeking a Part-Time Payroll Officer to join their team. This is a temporary position, working 24 hours per week, withFlexibility on the days and hours worked. The role is office-based in Portsmouth and offers an immediate start. The assignment is expected to last at least 4 months, with the possibility of extension.In this role, you'll be responsible for supporting the payroll function, working closely with an outsourced payroll provider and internal stakeholders. You'll also assist withpension administration and ensure accurate and timely payroll processing.Key duties will include:* Liaising with the outsourced payroll provider to ensure accurate and timely payroll runs* Reviewing payroll data and resolving discrepancies* Supporting pension submissions and queries* Maintaining payroll records and documentation* Responding to employee payroll and pension queries* Ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and internal policiesWhat you'll need to succeedYou'll have at least 2 years of payroll experience, including working with an outsourced payroll provider. Strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a good understanding of payroll and pension processes are essential.
