Due to company growth, they are now looking for a Quality Control Technician to join the team. This company has a supportive and collaborative culture, and pride themselves on internal career development. This role would suit recent chemistry / cosmetic science graduates who have a deep interest or experience in the personal care / skincare industry.Working Hours: Monday to Friday 37.5 hours a week, 33days holidayRole / Description

  • Complete QC testing on manufactured bulk, raw materials and finished goods to ensure they meet internal and external standards
  • Use analytical / wet chemistry techniques such as PH, viscosity, IR, FTIR, colour and odour checks
  • Making recommendations and adjustments to batches to achieve in-spec products
  • Work with Production, Manufacturing, R&D to ensure product consistency
  • Help with the creation and implementation Of SOP's and testing methods
  • Ensure all products meet regulatory compliance requirements
  • Write detailed non-conformance investigations and assisting with deviations, CAPAs and change controls
  • Developing and manage small continuous improvement projects

Requirements

  • Degree in Chemistry OR Cosmetic Science
  • Recent experiance working in a fast paced enviroment
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment
  • Full right to work in the UK, there is no sponsorship available for this role
