If you’re looking for long term, interesting work close to home, Havant Thicket Reservoir could be the place for you. The project has a duration of around 5 years’ and other work in the local area. The business has an esteemed history in water infrastructure and marine projects across the UK & Europe. 
 

This project is a first of its kind in the last of 30 years’ constructing a new reservoir to protect some of the rarest chalk streams in the country. The project is being delivered by a Joint Venture and will comprise of extensive earthworks, ecological work, reinforced concrete structures, pipelines, buildings and MEICA.

Following completion of the project the business has a steady local workload on frameworks, reactive projects, private clients and local authorities on projects such a coastal protection, jettys, water treatment works, marine groundworks and more.

Experience of working with NEC Contracts is essential.

Key duties:

  • Working with the project team to record costs, change and variation 
  • Minimise cost and risk of the project and enhance value for money
  • Provide commercial support to the engineering staff 
  • Manage costs and budget in line with the NEC contract
  • Raise early warning notices, compensation events
