Vehicle Technician - Portsmouth
A leading automotive service provider in Portsmouth is seeking a Level 3 qualified Vehicle Technician to join its dedicated and growing team. With a strong reputation for quality garage work, fair pricing, and excellent customer service for over 30 years, this well-established business specializes in vehicle repairs, servicing, and MOT testing using the latest technology.
The Role:
The successful candidate will be responsible for a variety of automotive tasks, working on all makes and models, from general servicing and repairs to advanced diagnostics and specialist diesel work. MOT testing for Class 4, 5, and 7 vehicles is desirable but not essential. Comprehensive training is provided for diesel expertise.
Key Responsibilities:
- Mechanical Repairs & Servicing (Cars & Vans)
- Electrical Repairs (Basic wiring, fuse, and relay checks/repairs)
- Diesel Engine Diagnostics & Repair
- Diesel Engine Replacements
- Diesel Timing Belts
- Vehicle Health Checks
- Engine Diagnostics & Timing Belts
- Clutch & Gearbox Replacements
- Petrol Servicing, MOT & Light Repairs
- Hybrid Vehicle Servicing & Repairs
- Welding & Turbo Chargers
Candidate Requirements:
The ideal candidate will be a Level 3 qualified technician with a strong work ethic, eager to develop their skills and build a long-term career. Prior experience in diagnostics, servicing, and repairs is highly desirable, but additional training will be provided where needed. Diesel expertise is preferred but not essential for applicants willing to learn.

- Monday to Friday, 8 AM - 5 PM (No weekends!)
