Job Description:
We are looking for a skilled Field Service Engineer to maintain, repair, and service a variety of forklift trucks and related equipment. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with a range of machinery, including construction plant and specialist military vehicles and equipment. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with the right background to join a supportive and dynamic team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance and emergency repairs on forklift trucks and related equipment.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues effectively.
- Maintain accurate service records and communicate clearly with the service manager and customers.
- Provide excellent customer service and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations and company policies.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Proven experience in the maintenance and repair of forklift trucks, construction plant, or specialist military vehicles and equipment.
- Strong diagnostic skills in mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
- Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Relevant technical qualifications or certifications are desirable.
- Full UK driving license.
