Salary: 29,000 per annum + Sleep-In Enhancements + Overtime
Hours: 37.5 hours per week (shift work including evenings, weekends & sleep-ins)

We are seeking a Residential Support Worker to join our dedicated team in a six-bed Children's Home based inPortsmouth. This is a fantastic opportunity to build a career in children's residential care within a supportive and trauma-informed environment.
About the Role:
As a Residential Support Worker, you will:
Provide daily care and support - including personal care, meal preparation, administering medication, and maintaining routines
Build meaningful relationships with young people through consistent emotional support and positive behaviour management
Encourage learning and development by supporting school attendance, helping with homework, and engaging in social, leisure, and life-skill activities
Safeguard and protect - ensuring the safety of all young people and reporting any concerns in line with safeguarding policies
Work collaboratively with Social Workers, Therapists, Youth Offending Teams, and internal colleagues to deliver holistic, person-centred care

Requirements:
Essential:
Enhanced DBS (or willingness to complete one)
Willingness to work on a rota (including evenings, weekends & sleep-ins)
Commitment to complete the Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (if not already achieved)
