GSL Education are seeking a SEN Teaching Assistant to join a supportive Sen school in Portsmouth. In this role, you will provide dedicated support to students with sensory and speech difficulties, helping them access the curriculum and succeed in the classroom. They need a dedicated individual who can implement behaviour management strategies and positively influence students’ learning experiences.

Many students also have additional needs such as autism, speech and language challenges, or medical conditions. The school offers a broad and balanced curriculum with a strong focus on outdoor learning, life skills, the arts, and preparation for adulthood. There is a whole-school emphasis on communication, independence, and personal development, ensuring pupils are well-prepared for their next stage in life. Staff are highly valued, with excellent opportunities for professional development and career progression.

We are looking for an empathetic and driven SEN Teaching Assistant to join the team and make a lasting impact. In this role, you will:
