Our client, a leading defense company, is seeking a Supply Chain Lead for a contract position.
The role involves supporting and negotiating contracts, managing supplier relationships, and identifying cost-saving opportunities.
Candidates should have experience in procurement or supply chain management, with a strong understanding of commercial and contractual aspects.
The position requires a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience and a salary range of $90,000 to $120,000 per year.
Familiarity with SAP and MRP systems is desirable, along with strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Our client - one of the Leading Defense companies is currently looking for Supply Chain Lead to join their team on a contract basis.

Duties:

Support and/or negotiate all commercial, financial, quality and schedule elements of contracts and any authorised changes in line with departmental procedures
Pro-actively support and deliver effective supplier management and manage open order book in line with the project's integrated schedule
Support Line Manager in delivering KPI's
Identify and implement cost saving opportunities
Identify risks, opportunities and mitigation plans and implement accordingly
Act as the primary point of contact with assigned suppliers and customers (internal/external).
Understand and adhere to the company Export Control requirements
Be first port of call for escalations within the Supply Chain team
