Overview:
HSB Technical Ltd is recruiting SC cleared fitters for a well-established engineering company. This role is primarily hands-on mechanical work, supporting the installation of structural components in a dockyard or industrial environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drilling and bolting of structural components
- Fitting handrails on stairs and platforms
- Installing gratings on stairs, landings, and walkways
- General assembly and support tasks as required (D-lock and other fixings)
- Working safely to engineering and site standards
Qualifications / Requirements:
- SC Clearance must be valid and current
- Practical experience as a fitter, plater, welder/fabricator, or sheet metal worker
- Comfortable with manual drilling, bolting, and assembly work
- Ability to work independently and as part of a small team
- Experience in dockyard, shipbuilding, or industrial environments is advantageous
Additional Information:
This is a short-term contract for immediate start. Candidates must be reliable, safety-conscious, and capable of working at height and in compliance with site safety procedures.
