Job Overview:

We are seeking a talented and experienced CNC Turner / Programmer to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for programming, setting up, and operating CNC turning machines to produce high-precision components. This role is pivotal in ensuring the efficiency, accuracy, and quality of our machined parts, primarily for one-off productions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Interpret engineering drawings and specifications to produce components within required tolerances.
  • Conduct quality control checks throughout the production process to ensure compliance with specifications.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve any programming or operational issues that arise during machining.
  • Collaborate with other machinists and engineers to improve processes and product quality.
  • Maintain accurate records of production and machine performance.
  • Ensure machines are properly maintained and report any faults or necessary repairs.

Qualifications:

  • Strong understanding of CNC programming principles and the machining process.
  • Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings and geometries.
  • Familiarity with CAD/CAM software for programming tasks.
  • Time served & qualified Engineer
