Position Title: CNC Turner Programmer
Location: Wirral
Salary: Up to 38,025 p/a
Working Hours: Monday to Thursday: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM Friday: 8:00 AM - 2:30 PM
Overtime: Available as needed based on workload.

Job Overview:
We are seeking a talented and experienced CNC Turner / Programmer to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for programming, setting up, and operating CNC turning machines to produce high-precision components. This role is pivotal in ensuring the efficiency, accuracy, and quality of our machined parts, primarily for one-off productions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Interpret engineering drawings and specifications to produce components within required tolerances.
- Conduct quality control checks throughout the production process to ensure compliance with specifications.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any programming or operational issues that arise during machining.
- Collaborate with other machinists and engineers to improve processes and product quality.
- Maintain accurate records of production and machine performance.
- Ensure machines are properly maintained and report any faults or necessary repairs.
Qualifications:
- Strong understanding of CNC programming principles and the machining process.
- Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings and geometries.
- Familiarity with CAD/CAM software for programming tasks.
- Time served & qualified Engineer
