Position Title: Manual Turner
Location: Wirral
Salary: 34,125 -36,075 p/a
Working Hours: Monday to Thursday: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM Friday: 8:00 AM - 2:30 PM
Overtime: Available on weekdays and Saturday mornings (as workload permits)

Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Manual Turner to join our client's established team. The successful candidate will be responsible for producing high-precision, one-off components primarily from stainless steel materials. The role requires a meticulous approach to work, as well as the ability to read and interpret engineering drawings accurately.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate traditional lathes
- Set up and adjust lathes according to the specifications of each job.
- Machine components to tight tolerances while adhering to quality standards.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
- Ensure proper maintenance of lathes and equipment.
- Collaborate with team members to optimise manufacturing processes.
Qualifications:
- Time-served and qualified engineer with a background in manual turning.
