Description
- Managing material requirements to ensure timely and accurate availability of supplies for production
- Coordinating with the procurement team to optimise purchasing and delivery schedules
- Analysing and managing inventory levels to prevent stockouts or excess inventory
- Assisting in the development of production plans and schedules
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to address and resolve material or supply chain issues
- Developing and maintaining productive relationships with suppliers and vendors
- Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives within the supply chain
- Ensuring compliance with company policies and industry regulations
Profile
A successful MRP Planner should have:
- Proven experience in MRP systems and supply chain processes
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Knowledge of industry regulations and standards
- A proactive approach to problem-solving
