We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and committed Biology Teacher to join our team of supply staff working across a variety of secondary schools in the Wirral. Whether you're an experienced educator or an Early Career Teacher (ECT), this is a great opportunity to teach your subject while enjoying flexible work options that suit your schedule.
Teach Biology to students across Key Stages 3 and 4 (KS5 desirable but not essential)
Deliver engaging and interactive lessons that foster curiosity and understanding
Adapt teaching methods to meet the needs of all learners
Manage classroom behaviour effectively and support school policies
Track student progress and provide timely feedback
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognised UK teaching qualification
Subject specialism in Biology (or general science with strong Biology background)
Experience teaching in UK secondary schools preferred
Excellent communication, classroom management, and organisational skills
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
