Teaching Assistant - Wirral
Prospero Teaching are working with a well-regarded Wirral primary school who are seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to support pupils across the classroom. The successful candidate will work closely with the class teacher to provide both whole-class and small-group support, helping to create a positive learning environment where every child can succeed.
This role would suit someone with experience supporting learning in a school setting, or a motivated individual looking to build a long-term career in education. You'll be supported by a fantastic team and have access to free CPD opportunities through Prospero Teaching.
CONTRACT/POSITION DETAILS
* Location - Wirral
* Position - Teaching Assistant
* Start date - As soon as possible
* Contract type - Fixed Term
* Full time/part time - Full time
* Minimum rate of pay - 90 - 110 per day
* Hours - 8:30am to 3:30pm
EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS
* Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (desirable)
* Previous experience working with children (school or alternative setting)
* Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year (desirable however not essential as some training is provided)
TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:
* Hold Right to Work in the UK
* Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
* Provide two professional references
